Top Paw Scout Dog Collar ($9.59) is one of my favorite brands of collars. I love adjustable, nylon collars for both the growing puppy as well as the maturing adult. Mellan has always had one of these, and it looks like he’s finally on his last one (we’ve gone through two from earlier), thankfully. They’re durable, long-lasting, and they work well. We prefer nylon collars, because Mellan loves himself some swimming action, so anything else just won’t cut it.  Your local petstore will likely carry several Top Paw nylon collars (and if not Top Paw, another brand) in a variety of colors to choose from, too.
